AZERBAIJANI FM MEETS GEORGIAN COUNTERPART
Baku, September 14 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov met today with visiting Georgian counterpart Grigol Vashadze.
Mammadyarov stressed necessity of establishing peace and stability in the region, for what, according to him, “our countries should joint their efforts”.
Vashadze, in turn, praised bilateral relations between the two states.
They discussed also international and regional issues.
During the 2-day visit, Georgian official will meet with Azerbaijani state and governmental officials, as well as pay tribute to Heydar Aliyev`s tomb at the Alley of Honors, and revere memory of Azerbaijani heroes at the Alley of Martyrs.
