Iranian, Turkish FMs discuss regional issues


Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki and his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu discussed in their second round of talks avenues for promotion of cooperation in the field of energy as well as the latest developments in the region.

They also focused on the Iraq-Syria crisis, latest developments in Afghanistan, broad collaboration for fighting terrorism, normalization of Turkey-Armenia ties and Palestine issue.

Mottaki called for further consultations to help solve regional issues and said that regional solution is the best way for settlement of issues.

Davutoglu, for his part, said that Iran and Turkey have capacities for solving regional issues.
