NETHERLANDS TO OPEN EMBASSY IN BAKU NEXT MONTH
Baku, September 11 (AzerTAc). The Netherlands will open its embassy in Azerbaijan in October, according to the country`s consulate here.
Jan Lucas van Hoorn, director of South and Eastern Europe department at the Foreign Ministry, will be the first Dutch ambassador to Azerbaijan.
Dutch Secretary General Ed Kronenbourg is expected to attend an official opening ceremony of the embassy.
The Azerbaijani embassy to the Netherlands was set up in 2007 and has been headed by Fuad Isgandarov.
