Baku, September 10 (AzerTAc). Merging municipalities would stimulate their development and dynamics, said head of socio-political affairs at the Azerbaijani President`s Administration Ali Hasanov.
“Cutting the number of municipalities and merging the little ones is the requirement of the reality.”
“The parliament has had many discussions on this issue to make amendments to the existing legislation,” Hasanov added.
“This would contribute to increasing the effectiveness of big municipalities and developing the municipal system in general.”
