PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV INSPECTS NEWLY OVERHAULED PARK IN ACADEMIC CITY
Baku, September 9 (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva have inspected today the newly overhauled park in the Academic city of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
The Head of State was informed of the work done here.
The park which covers about 2 hectares got an expanded green area, more than ten thousand ornamental flowers brought from the Netherlands, a big fountain, modern lightening system, new benches and other conveniences.
The reconstruction works were implemented by Baku Mayor`s Office under relevant instructions and recommendations of President Ilham Aliyev.
After familiarizing himself with the work done in the park President Ilham Aliyev gave certain instructions.
