President calls for changing bases of international relations
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Monday that the era is over when a few countries made decisions for the rest of the world. He said now is the time for changing bases of international relations.
Speaking in his first press conference after receiving the vote of confidence for his new cabinet from the Iranian Parliament (Majlis), the president said, “No problem would be solved in the world without justice.”
He added, “The people of Iran are presenting to the world a moral and humanitarian pattern for ruling and public cooperation to run a country.”
Referring to Iran’s June 12 presidential election, President Ahmadinejad told domestic and foreign reporters that the voting has brought “a number of great victories for the Iranian nation.
