TOP OFFICIAL AT AZERBAIJAN NATIONAL OLYMPIC COMMITTEE MEETS PRESIDENT OF WORLD POWERLIFTING CONGRESS
Baku, September 5 (AzerTAc). Vice president of the Azerbaijan National Olympic Committee Chingiz Huseynzade has met president of the World Powerlifting Congress (WPC) Mike Sweeney.
Sweeney praised the Azerbaijani government`s work to create all necessary conditions for
Azerbaijan`s sportsmen.
He underlined Azerbaijan have good potential to host international competitions.
Huseynzade expressed confidence “cooperation between the World Powerlifting Congress and Azerbaijan Sports authorities will further expand”.
President of Azerbaijan Powerlifting Federation Aladdin Aliyev was present at the meeting.
