AZERI OMBUDSPERSON MEETS GERMAN MP
Baku, 2 September (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Commissioner for Human Rights Elmira Suleymanova has met member of German Bundestag Jorg Tauss.
Suleymanova talked about the Ombudsman Office`s bilateral cooperation with regional and international organizations, including the Council of Europe and European Union.
She also praised German NGOs` contribution to advancing experience in Azerbaijan to strengthen the protection of human rights.
The German MP praised activites of the Ombudsman Office in the field protection of human rights in the country and improvement of legislation in this regard.
