Iran to export 250 tractors to Iraq

Some 250 tractors, worth dlrs 3.2 million, will be exported to Iraq in the near future, managing director of Iran Tractor Manufacturing Company announced on Tuesday.

Mohammad-Reza Zamanlou said some 60 tractors, worth dlrs 768,000, will be exported to Iraq via Iraqi Kurdestan.

He said several tractors, worth dlrs 37 million, were exported to several countries including Libya, Venezuela, Afghanistan, Armenia, Uganda, Sudan, Algeria, Nigeria, Zimbabwe and Azerbaijan Republic from March 21-September 22, 2009.

Head of Iran Tractor Manufacturing Company anticipated that the figure could reach dlrs 80 million by March 21, 2010.
