PRESIDENT OF AZERBAIJAN ATTENDS CEREMONY OF REOPENING OF THE BUILDING OF UNION OF AZERBAIJAN COMPOSERS
Baku, 1 September (AzerTAc). On September 1, after overhaul and reconstruction, the building of Union of Azerbaijan Composers reopened.
President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the reopening ceremony.
As stated, the 3-storyed building has been built in 1912 and is a sample of architectural constructions of republic`s capital.
The President and First Lady familiarized themselves with the restoration and reconstruction works.
Firangiz Alizade, chairperson of the Union of Composers, expressed the composers` gratitude to the Head of State for high-level reconstruction works at the historically landmark building.
President Aliyev congratulated the builders and wished future successes.
