AZERI CHECKERS PLAYER BEATS RUSSIAN RIVAL IN EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP

Baku, August 29 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Eldar Aliyev has defeated Russian Aina Sobakina in the 6th round of the European 100-squares draughts championship in Stockholm, Sweden, increasing his points to 7.
Aliyev will next face Dutch Ben Provoost.
The tournament brings together 56 checkers players from 9 countries.
