AZERBAIJAN TURKEY HISTORICAL RESEARCH FOUNDATION RECEIVES MAKE A BETTER WORLD AWARD
Baku, August 26 (AzerTAc). The Azerbaijan Turkey Historical Research Foundation has been named as a winner of the 2009 Associations "Make a Better World Awards" program
ATHRF received an honorable mention in the Developing Nation Category for its “Joint action for regional peace as a model of social and economic integration in Eurasia” project.
Deputy Chairman of the Azerbaijan-Turkey Historical Studies Foundation and Chairman of the Azerbaijan-Turkey Businessmen Association (ATBA) Ahmet Erentok and ATBA representative for international relations Farid Malikli received the award at the meeting of the American Society of Association Executives on August 15-18 in Toronto, Canada.
Introduced in 2002, Associations "Make a Better World Awards" recognize associations that engage in compelling programs and activities that benefit communities abroad in two categories: U.S./Developed Nations and Developing Nations.
The Associations Make a Better World Awards recognize outstanding association programs, projects and activities that make a significant contribution to society and economies around the world.
The awards are presented annually to recognize associations making an impact outside of the United States.
