SHAHDENIZ FIELD PRODUCES 35BLN C/M OF NATURAL GAS IN FIRST HALF 2009
Baku, August 26 (AzerTAc). According to the “bp-Azerbaijan” Company, about 35 bln c/m of natural gas and 0,9 mln tons of condensate were produced in the Shahdeniz field during the first half of 2009. The field’s five wells produced approximately 19 mln c/m of gas and 40 000 barrels of condensate per day.
The Company plans to produce more 7,5 billion cubic meters of natural gas and 1,9 mln tons of condensate from Shahdeniz field this year, which will be further sold to the Georgian GOGC, Turkish BOTASH and BTC Co Companies along with local companies.
