Iran-Sweden FMs discuss issues of mutual interest
Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki discussed bilateral ties and regional developments with his Swedish counterpart Carl Bildt here Tuesday evening.
The two officials met each other on the sidelines of 'Pakistan Friends Group' meeting in Turkey.
They also talked about developments in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Considering the existing realities, the two sides called for continuation of dialogue between the two countries.
They also expressed hope that their meetings and exchange of views can continue in the future, too.
In a separate meeting, Mottaki discussed regional developments and issues of mutual interest with his Canadian counterpart Lawrence Cannon.
Referring to the interference of certain countries in Iran’s events after the 10th presidential election, Mottaki made clear the consequences of such interferences.
Lawrence Cannon, for his part, by referring to the history of relations between Iran and Canada, called for continuation of dialogue for removing obstacles on mutual relations.
International meeting on 'Pakistan Friends Group' hosted by Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu started its work here on Tuesday morning and wrapped up its work in the afternoon by issuing a statement.
