TURKISH MILITARY ATTACHÉ KILLED BY ARMENIAN TERRORISTS COMMEMORATED IN OTTAWA
Ottawa, August 25 (AzerTAc). The Federation of Canada Turkish Associations held a commemorative ceremony to pay tribute to Turkish military attaché in Canada, colonel Atilla Altikan killed by Armenian terrorists on August 24, 1982.
The event was attended by Azerbaijani and Turkish ambassadors, Turkish and Azerbaijani communities of Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal, representatives of the Canada parliament and media. Speakers at the event said the 1982 assassination went unpunished.
Atilly Altikan was one of many victims of Armenian terror.
A brochure on the Armenian terrorism was distributed among event participants and Ottawa residents.
