AZERBAIJANI SUMO WRESTLERS WIN GOLD AT EUROPEAN SUMO CHAMPIONSHIP IN SWITZERLAND

Baku, 25 August (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani sumo wrestlers Zaur Bagirov (115) and Namig Sadikhov (70 kg) won gold while Amrah Ahmadov (80 kg) won bronze medal at the European Sumo Championship in Switzerland. Zaur Bagirov beat Ukrainian sumo wrestler Konstantin Yermakov in the final bout. Participation of the 11-member Azerbaijani sumo wrestlers’ team in the European Sumo Championship in Switzerland was supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Baku Youth and Sports Administration and “Neftchi” Sports and Health Center.
