AZERBAIJANI JUNIOR BOXERS GRAB SEVEN MEDALS IN EUROPEAN CHAMP IN POLAND
Baku, 24 August (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani junior boxing team has brought home a clutch of seven medals, including 1 gold, from the European championship held in Poland.
Gold came from Elvin Mamishzade weighing in at 48kg.
Silvers were claimed by Elvin Isayev (54kg) and Emil Ahmadov (69kg), while Elnur Zeynalov (51kg), Elvin Aliyev (57kg), Heybatulla Hajialiyev (60kg), and Murad Agamaliyev (75kg) won bronze.
Among 35 countries, Azerbaijan ranked 2nd in the medal table.
