Hakim again in Tehran hospital for further treatment: son

Head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council (SIIC) Abdul Aziz Hakim has been once again hospitalized in Tehran due to recommendations made by his physicians, it was announced on Monday.

Talking to IRNA, his son, Mohsen, added that since his father had some physical problems, his physicians advised him to become hospitalized in Tehran to receive further medical care.

He added that his father’s health condition was under control.

Abdul Aziz Hakim is under medical treatment for lung cancer.
