CHAIRPERSON OF STATE COMMITTEE FOR FAMILY, WOMEN & CHILDREN AFFAIRS MEETS UNICEF REPRESENTATIVE IN AZERBAIJAN
Baku, 21 August (AzerTAc). Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs Hijran Huseynova has met today here with Mark Hereward, new Representative for the United Nations Children`s Fund (UNICEF) in Azerbaijan.
Huseynova briefed Hereward on the ongoing policy in her country towards protecting children`s rights.
She noted her Committee has done a lot to solve problems of children in the country.
For his part, Hereward praised the Azerbaijani Government`s work to solve problems of children and to protect their rights.
