HEAD OF CAUCASUS MOSLEMS CLERICAL OFFICE PARTAKES IN OPENING OF RUSSIAN ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY
Baku, 21 August, (AzerTAc). Chairman of the Caucasus Moslems Clerical Office Sheikulislam Haji Allahshukur Pashazade took part at the official opening of the Russian Islamic University in Grozny.
Representatives of public of the Chechen Republic and visitors from other regions of Russia and from abroad took part in opening.
The same day Chairman of the Caucasus Moslems Clerical Office A.Pashazade met the president of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov in private.
Pashazade noted that he was personally familiar with the father of the president, had with him friendly relations. The national leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev rendered assistance and also supported the Chechen people in difficult years of tests. Azerbaijan`s incubment president Ilham Aliyev asked to convey his friendly greetnigs to your compatriots and personally to you, Pashazade said.
The opening ceremony was atended by thousands of Muslim religious figures and students of Islamic institute.
Specialists who have got religious education in Islamic high schools of Russia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Syria and Malaysia will become teachers of the University. Students will study Islamic sciences, the Koran and the Arabian language, and also law, psychology, pedagogics, Russian and Chechen languages, world history, English language, etc.
