FORMER US UNDER SECRETARY OF STATE FOR POLITICAL AFFAIRS VISITS ALLEY OF MARTYRS
Baku, August 21 (AzerTAc). Former US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Marc Grossman has visited today the Alley of Martyrs to pay tribute to Azerbaijan`s nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev.
Here, he put flowers at the tombs of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev and academician, eminent ophthalmologist Zarifa Aliyeva.
Grossman has also visited the Alley of Martyrs and put flowers at the gravesite of violent Azerbaijani sons who died for the independence and territorial integrity of the country.
He also put a wreath at the Eternal Fire monument.
