Ambassadors pay visit to tourist venues of Aras Free Zone

Foreign ambassadors to Tehran from 22 different countries paid a visit to the historical and tourist sites of the Aras Free Zone ( AFZ) on Tuesday afternoon.

The envoys visited Saint Stepanous Church, coastal area of the Aras River, Gordian Agricultural area, and the first phase of industrial units in the AFZ and got acquainted with the economic and tourist capacities of the area for developing investmentds.
The AFZ persuades and welcoms investment in three grounds of tourist, infrastructure and social-cultural issues.
Foreign ambassadors who attended the tour were from countries as China, Jordan, Uzbekistan, Czech Republic, Cuba, Oman,Pakistan, Croatia, Egypt, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Sudan, Yemen, Ivory Coast, Australia, Mali, New Zealand, Somalia, Ukraine, India, Tajikistan and Venezuela.
