YOUNG AZERI BOXER BEATS ARMENIAN RIVAL IN SZCZECIN

Baku, August 17 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Elvin Isayev has defeated Armenian Alexander Shakhyan in Szczecin, Poland, launching a successful run for the title in the European youth boxing championship`s 54kg division.
Powerful Isayev beat his rival 7-2 to proceed to the second round where he will face Scottish Joseph Ham.
In the 48kg class, Azerbaijan`s Elvin Mamishzade beat Turkish Ertugrul Erdemir.
