ORBITAL SCIENCES CORPORATION TO MAKE AZERBAIJAN`S FIRST SATELLITE
Baku, August 16 (AzerTAc). American Orbital Sciences Corporation company has won an international tender to make Azerbaijan`s first satellite, which the country plans to put into orbit in 2010.
According to Azeri minister of communications and information technologies, Ali Abbasov, Azerbaijani experts will be observing the process of making the satellite.
Abbasov also said the satellite will probably be launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
