SCIPPS approves to free 19 prisoners in Mahweet

MEHWEET, Aug. 15 (Saba)- The Supreme
Commission for Inspecting Prisons and Prisoners Conditions (SCIPPC) has approved to
free
19 prisoners in Mehweet governorate who spent three quarters of their terms.
The commission agreed, in its Saturday meeting headed by Attorney General Abdullah
al-Olofi and Mahweet governor Ahmed Ali Muhssen, to assist four cases of prisoners
who
are sentenced to pay blood money.
The commission discussed a report presented by head of the appeal prosecution
Abdulla al-Olufi on situations of the prisoners in the governorate.
Head and members of the Commission inspected prisoners' conditions in the Central
Prison, stressing the need to complete training courses in prison to provide
prisoners
with skills and handcrafts which would help them when they are released.
