‘UN IS AZERBAIJAN`S CLOSE PARTNER AND SUPPORTS ITS TERRITORIAL INTEGRITY’
Baku, August 15 (AzerTAc). The United Nations is a close partner of Azerbaijan and supports the country`s territorial integrity, said Envera Selimovic, U.N. Department of Public Information Representative in Azerbaijan.
Selimovic noted “every Azerbaijanis and those who make efforts to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict wish implementation of the relevant resolutions adopted by the UN Security Council”.
She also underlined “there is progress in talks to settle the dispute”.
Territorial integrity of Azerbaijan is recognized not only by the United Nations, but also other international organizations, Selimovic said.
