LATVIAN PRESIDENT AND HIS SPOUSE VISIT CARPET-MAKING FACTORY IN BAKU
Baku, August 12 (AzerTAc). President of Latvia Valdis Zatlers and his spouse Lilita Zatlers have visited Wednesday the carpet-making factory Azerilme Ltd.
The President and his spouse viewed an exhibition of the Azerbaijani carpets.
They were informed that carpets produced by Azerilme Ltd were awarded special prizes and certificates in sale exhibitions in U.S., Germany, Austria, Great Britain, Italy, Japan and Russia.
The 37 sqm carpet “Sheikh Safi” aroused their particular interest.
They also viewed a carpet weaving process.
Afterwards, the Latvian leader and his spouse viewed the factory`s carpet collection, and had a tea party.
