LATVIAN PRESIDENT VISITS ZAGATALA REGION OF AZERBAIJAN
Zagatala, August 12 (AzerTAc). Latvian President Valdis Zatlers yesterday has visited Zagatala region as part of his Azerbaijan trip.
President Zatlers and his spouse Lilita Zatlere were warmly welcomed at the Zagatala airport.
The Latvian leader and his spouse made a tour and went a lot of sightseeing of Zagatala, including ancient Tala Mosque. As stated, representatives of more than 20 nationalities, including Azerbaijanis, Russians, avars, lezghins, tatars, sakhurs, ingiloys, etc, live in this ergion.
Valdis Zatlers and Lilita Zatlere then visited Zagatala Medical Diagnostic Center.
Here, they had a conversation with patients and doctors.
The same day the Latvian delegation left for Shaki region.
