NEW WELL PUT INTO OPERATION IN OIL ROCKS
Baku, August 12 (AzerTAc). SOCAR has put into operation a new well numbered 1878 at the Oil Rocks field through the platform N1887 which was put into operation from 2006.
The daily flow rate of the well installed at the water depth of 2.440 meters is 34 tons of oil. The platform has 36 wells, of which, 18 have been already drilled and produce 480 tons of oil per day.
About 6 wells are also planned to be put into operation in coming days, the company said.
