INDIA, AZERBAIJAN: WIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR CO--OP
Baku, August 12 (AzerTAc). Chairman of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijan Parliament) International Relations and Inter-Parliamentary Ties Standing Committee, rector of the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) Samad Seyidov met yesterday with Indian ambassador to the country Debnad Show.
Seyidov spoke of the AUL`s American, Italian, Scandinavian and Israeli centers, noting “there is huge potential in the University to learn Indian language, too.”
He stressed India is a “close friend” of Azerbaijan, and opening center of Indian languages at the university could make certain contribution to expansion of relations between the universities of the two states.
Mr. Show, in turn, said the both sides need exchange programs of teachers and students.
