AZERBAIJANI OMBUDSPERSON MEETS EU EMBASSY REPRESENTATIVES
Baku, August 12 (AzerTAc). The commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elmira Suleymanova met representatives of the Belgian and Hungarian embassies in Azerbaijan Peter Booms, Tibor Szilagyi and EU ambassador to Azerbaijan Alan Waddams, ombudsman`s office said.
During the meeting, Azerbaijani ombudsperson updated the guests on the many-field activity of the Ombudsman institution in human rights protection, as well as its cooperation with the state structures, non-governmental organizations, civil society, international and regional organizations, including European Union and National Human Rights Institutions functioning abroad.
The guests highly praised the activity of the institution.
