HEYDAR ALIYEV FOUNDATION ORGANIZES REST CAMP IN LANKARAN REGION
Baku, 11 August (AzerTAc). Since 1 August, with support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, in the rest center “Caucasus Sahil” , Lankaran city, has been organized a rest camp for psychological and social rehabilitation of children, suffering from diabetes and needing special care.
In the camp for 30 children from the families of disabled, invalids of the Karabakh War, refugees and IDPs, and also from families with two and more children, deprived of the parental guardianship, suffering from diabetes, 4 physicians, 5 teachers and 2 psychologists will work.
During rest, the children make interesting excursions and travel to historical places of Lankaran. In camp, children take part in various sports competitions and entertaining games and receive social and psychological assistance.
The care of children, suffering from diabetes, takes important place in activity of Heydar Aliyev Foundation. With support of Foundation, in the frame of the project “High Care for Diabetic Children” in the country, children up to 14 years, suffering from diabetes, during 2004-2009 were regularly provided with insulin medicaments and syringes-pencils.
