Emergency Islamic Relief Campaign in Southern parts of Africa


Durban, South Africa, August 10, SPA -- An Emergency Relief Campaign,
organized by the International Islamic Relief Commission, an
affiliate of the Makkah-based Muslim World League, was launched here
today, its first leg of a three Southern African countries.
In a speech at the opening ceremony, Alsayed Doze, Chairman of
Disasters Management Division in the South African Region, said the
campaign targets 39250 people in South Africa, Swaziland and
Zimbabwe.
He hailed the efforts exerted by the MWL and the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia in relief of the needy all over the world.
