Police helicopter crashed near Kerman
A police helicopter crashed near Kerman’s Siarch Mountain Range on its way back from a mission Monday evening.
The Political and Security Deputy of Kerman Governor General announcing the news in an interview with IRNA Monday night, said, “The pilot and two of the passengers of the helicopter have been martyred, while three other of its passengers have got wounded.”
Javad Kamali reiterated, “The wounded victims of the incidence have been transferred to medical centers of Kerman and their conditions are reported to be satisfactory.”
He added, “The Red Crescent and relief forces rushed to the incidence site immediately after hearing the news.”
Kamali said attributed the air accident to technical difficulties, adding, “The helicopter crashed after completing a mission over the desert.”
He also said that a team of experts has been dispatched from Tehran to launch a careful survey about the crash.
