LATVIAN PRESIDENT`S SPOUSE VISITS INTERNATIONAL MUGHAM CENTER IN BAKU
Baku, August 10 (AzerTAc). Latvian President Valdis Zatlers` spouse Lilita Zatlers has today visited here the International Mugham Center.
She was briefed about the Center.
The Center was built at the initiative of President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO goodwill ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva. It is one of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation`s important projects to protect national moral values and popularize them in the world. President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on April 6, 2005 to establish the International Mugham Center.
Mrs. Lilita Zatlers saw the busts of outstanding Azerbaijani mugham singers.
She was briefed about the Center.
