LATVIAN PRESIDENT VISITS ALLEY OF HONORS IN BAKU
Baku, August 10 (AzerTAc). Latvian President Valdis Zatlers has visited the Alley of Honors on Monday to revere memory of the national leader, founder of the modern Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev.
The President laid a wreath at the tomb of the national leader.
He also put flowers on grave of the renowned ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
The Latvian leader was briefed on the history of the Alley of Honors.
