10. 560 MINES & UXO DEMOLISHED IN July
Baku, August 7 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) cleared the territory of 2 244 355 square km of 10. 560 mines and UXO in July, press service of the Agency said. The operations involved 425 sappers, 5 UXO operators and 30 mine detection dogs.
Up to now, the territory of 107 644 692 square km have been cleared, and 468 170 mines and UXO have been neutralized.
Today, mine clearing works underway in the territories of Tartar, Agdam, Fuzuli, Tovuz and Agstafa regions.
