AZERBAIJAN CONTINUES ITS DEVELOPMENT DESPITE GLOBAL ECONOMIC CRISIS, BUCHAREST MAYOR

Baku, August 6 (AzerTAc). “Although the economic crisis hit the world, Azerbaijan keeps on developing. It is a result of President Ilham Aliyev`s right policy,” visiting Mayor of Bucharest`s Sector 2 Neculai Ontanu said at the meeting with member of the Azerbaijan-Romania interparliamentary friendship group in the Milli Majlis.
Head of the working group Azay Guliyev said Azerbaijan and Romania have close relations. He highlighted the role of the heads of the two states in pushing bilateral relations to a much higher level
Guliyev reminded visits of Speaker of Milli Majlis Ogtay Asadov and members of the Friendship Group to Romania, saying reciprocal visits are the important factor having a positive impact on development of interparliamentary ties. He described opening of the Heydar Aliyev monument and park as well as Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Bucharest as the manifestation of friendship towards Azerbaijan
Upon completion of the meeting, Romanian delegation visited the Heydar Aliyev museum in the Milli Majlis and conference hall.
