AZERI WRESTLER INTO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL
Baku, August 4 (AzerTAc). Young Azerbaijani wrestler Hasan Aliyev is one step away from winning world gold in the 60 kg weight category following his stunning 8-0 win over Iran`s Abuza Nurzade in semifinal.
In the gold-medal bout Aliyev will face defending world champion Rahman Bilici of Turkey whom he defeated last month in semifinal of the European championship in Tbilisi.
In the 50 kg division Azerbaijan`s hopes are pinned on Khurshud Babashov who needs to beat Kyrgyz Hasan Suleymanov to win bronze.
