Swine flue infected cases raised in Yemen

SANA'A, Aug. 02 (Saba) - The Ministry of
Public Health and Population announced on Sunday the discovery of a new case
infected with
Swine flue.

Director of Combating Diseases and Epidemiological Monitoring at the Health
Ministry Abdul Hakim al-Kohlani told Saba that the case is the 11th one that has
been discovered
in Yemen.
The new infected case is a Yemeni emigrant, who has come from abroad, he added.
The citizen informed the Epidemiological Monitoring Department about his illness
and currently he is isolated to get the necessary medical measures and medication,
the director
said.
Yemen announced the first confirmed H1N1-infected case in Yemen on June 16, 2009.
The previous ten infected cases have been given necessary medications and their
health conditions are stable and have returned to practice their normal lives,
according
to the Ministry of Health.
