Iran’s stability important for region: Lebanese FM

Lebanese Foreign Minister Fawzi Salloukh said that Iran’s internal situation has been settled in direction of tranquility and stability and this is important for the region.

The Lebanese official stated this in a meeting with Iran’s Ambassador to Lebanon Mohammad Reza Sheybani here on Tuesday.
Sheybani, for his part, expressed hope that the national unity government of Lebanon takes office.
He added that Iran will make all efforts for establishment of national unity government in Lebanon.
The Iranian ambassador also appreciated presence of representatives of Lebanese president, prime minister, parliament speaker, foreign minister, other ministers, parliament deputies and other Lebanese officials in memorial service for victims of Iranian plane incident.
The two sides also discussed the latest developments in Lebanon, establishment of upcoming government in the country, ways of strengthening bilateral cooperation as well as problems of Iranian tourists in Syria who want to go to Lebanon.
The Lebanese foreign minister has already ordered to facilitate the entry of Iranian tourists into Lebanon through Syrian border.
