Beijing (VNA) – A delegation of the Vietnam People’s Army’s General Political
Department, headed by the department’s Deputy Director Nguyen Tuan Dung, has paid
a friendship visit to China .

On July 22, the Vietnamese delegation was received by Director of the General
Political Department under the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Li Jinai, who
affirmed that boosting the China-Vietnam friendship meets the common desire of the
two countries and people.

He added that the Chinese side wished to continue enhancing cooperation between the
two armies to further their all-round partnership.

For his part, Dung said that Vietnam values relations between the two armies and
considers them an important facet of its foreign policy. He added that the
Vietnamese People’s Army is ready to step-up exchanges and bilateral cooperation
in all fields.

The same day, the Vietnamese army official had an exchange of views with Deputy
Director of the General Political Department under the Chinese People’s Liberation
Army Liu Youngzhi.-Enditem
