Birth Anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il Marked in China

 Pyongyang, February 22 (KCNA) -- Families of those related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle in China met at the DPRK embassy in Beijing on February 15 to celebrate the 84th birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il.
Among them were Feng Songguang, son of Feng Zhongyun, Shang Xiaowei, son of mentor Shang Yue, Yue Zhi-yun, daughter of Zhang Weihua's daughter, and Yu Ming, son of Li Zade.
The participants laid a flower basket and bouquets before the portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and paid tribute to them.
They looked round the photos showing the noble career and exploits of the Chairman.
They also watched a video dealing with the immortal exploits of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who has set forth the original revolutionary line and action programs and brought about epochal successes for the prosperity of the DPRK.

Speakers said that Kim Jong Il devoted his all to defending the socialist system built by Kim Il Sung and safeguarding the dignity of the DPRK with Songun, led the DPRK people to victory and glory, carrying forward the intention of the President, and provided solid foundations for the country's development and the people's happiness.
