Meeting Held in DPRK to Review Agriculture for 2025

 Pyongyang, January 29 (KCNA) -- A meeting to review agriculture for 2025 took place at the Cabinet on Jan. 27 and 28 through video conferencing.
The meeting was guided by Pak Thae Song, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea and premier of the DPRK Cabinet, Jo Yong Won, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau and secretary of the C.C., WPK, Ju Chol Gyu, department director of the C.C., WPK, and Ri Chol Man, vice-premier of the Cabinet and chairman of the Agricultural Commission.
Present there were officials of the Party Central Committee, the Cabinet, ministries and national agencies, Party and power organs and agricultural guidance organs in provinces, cities and counties and officials of the farms designated as the 30 best farms and relevant industrial establishments.
Ri Chol Man made a report to review the agriculture for 2025.
Under the energetic guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, a guarantee was provided for stable farming in the agricultural sector last year and a proud reality, in which modern farm machines were introduced in farming and hurrah for the Workers' Party and socialism resounded high in the venues for year-end account settlement and income distribution, was opened, the reporter said.
The report analyzed and reviewed a series of shortcomings revealed in the agricultural sector last year and set forth the concrete tasks for attaining this year's goal of grain production.
The reporter called upon all officials to fulfill their responsibility and duty in a drive for increased grain production with high awareness that they are entirely responsible for the work of their sectors and units.

The speakers expressed their resolve to keep the Party principle in the guidance of agricultural production, wage a bold struggle for increased grain production in a scientific way and thus bring about a high yield this year at any cost.
The meeting announced the ranking of provinces, cities and counties in last year's farming, the ten best agricultural counties and the 30 best farms for 2025. And certificates and prizes were awarded to them. -0-
