Inauguration Ceremony of Regional-industry Factories Held in Yomju County

 Pyongyang, December 27 (KCNA) -- In Yomju County, the northwestern coastal area of the DPRK, modern regional-industry factories have been built as a solid foundation for improving the people's standard of living.
An inauguration ceremony of regional-industry factories in Yomju County was held with splendor on Dec. 26.
Present there were Choe Ryong Hae, chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, officials and working people in North Phyongan Province and Yomju County and employees of regional-industry factories and officers and men of the construction regiment.
Choe Ryong Hae addressed the ceremony.
The speaker warmly congratulated the county people on celebrating the inauguration of the new factories while picturing the future of their hometown to be more civilized and richer.
He referred to the energetic guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who has worked heart and soul to ensure that the projects for building regional-industry factories make fresher progress in all aspects than last year, including design and construction, and successfully complete them in the year when their construction began.
He called for advancing with greater confidence for the overall prosperity of the great state and the implementation of the Party's policy on regional development.
In his speech, Kim Hyon Chol, chief secretary of the Yomju County Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, extended deep gratitude to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who has always worked heart and soul to lead the historic groundbreaking ceremony to the inauguration ceremony of joy, shouldering all burdens so as to realize the regional people's long-cherished desires.
He expressed the resolution to steadily boost the quality of products, strengthen the material and technical foundations of raw material bases, train more technicians and skilled workers and make proactive efforts for optimizing the effective development and use of the economic resources and potential peculiar to the region so as to prove in practice the validity and vitality of the Party's regional development policy.

Fireworks were let off with many balloons rising up into the sky.
At the end of the ceremony, the participants looked round the foodstuff factory, garment factory, daily necessities factory and seafood processing factory, equipped with modern production lines.
An art performance was given to celebrate the inauguration of regional-industry factories in the county.
That evening, fireworks were displayed in the nocturnal sky over the county. -0-
