Kyrgyz education ministry: 4 million educational and methodological books printed in 2025

Bishkek, Dec. 26, 2025 /Kabar/. In 2025, the volume of printing educational and methodological complexes reached a record high in recent years, Ministry of Education reports.

Thus, 856,548,703 soms were allocated from the state budget for the printing of textbooks in 2025. Over the past 8 years, 3,742,461 textbooks have been published, and in 2025 - 4,085,450 educational and methodological complexes, which is 9.1% more than over the previous 8 years.

It is noted that textbooks are published according to a precise step-by-step plan for updating textbooks in all subjects in accordance with the Concept of transition to 12-year school education in the Kyrgyz Republic, approved by Resolution of Kyrgyz Cabinet of Ministers dated October 30, 2024 No. 654.
