Foreign Minister receives Palestinian Ambassador to the United Kingdom

Manama, Dec. 24 (BNA): Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Husam Zomlot, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the United Kingdom, in the presence of Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Kingdom.

Discussions reviewed the close relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Palestine, founded on mutual respect and cooperation, and the continued development of cooperation across various domains. The meeting also explored means to further advance relations in support of shared interests.

The meeting addressed regional developments, the situation in the Gaza Strip, efforts to strengthen regional security and stability, and initiatives aimed at advancing peace in the region, as well as other matters of common interest.

The meeting was also attended by Aref Yousef Saleh, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
