MoFA Chief of Organisations meets Serbian UN Department Director

Manama, Dec. 23 (BNA): Hatem Abdulhameed Hatem, Chief of the Organisations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met via videoconference with Marina Ivanović, Director of the Department of the United Nations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, to consult on issues on the UN Security Council agenda, in light of the ongoing preparations for the Kingdom of Bahrain’s non-permanent membership in the Council for the 2026–2027 term.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on a number of regional and international topics.

They underscored the shared commitment to strengthening multilateral international cooperation under the United Nations framework.
