Advanced Technology of Heat Treatment Developed

 Pyongyang, December 24 (KCNA) -- Scientists of Kim Il Sung University in the DPRK have developed in a Korean way advanced technology of heat treatment urgently needed in the machine-building industry.
This new technique using medium-frequency and high-frequency current at the same time in one inductor makes it possible to produce high-quality gears with ordinary carbon steel. It can also drastically reduce the production cost, power consumption and manpower and increase productivity more than twice, causing no environmental pollution.
The new technology is drawing attention of experts as it can improve the quality of various kinds of machine parts including gears. -0-
