City and County Seats Spruced up in North Hwanghae Province

 Pyongyang, December 23 (KCNA) -- North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK reconstructed tens of thousands of houses in city and county seats, improved the roads extending tens of kilometers and built many edifices contributable to the cultural and emotional life of the people.
The province set Sariwon City as a model and ensured that the design was completed in a short time. Thanks to the efforts of working people in the province, tile-setting of exterior walls of thousands of flats and landscaping were finished in a short span of time, and a park and a funfair were newly built in the central part of the city.
Unpha and Hwangju counties carried out the project to reconstruct thousands of flats in keeping with the modern tastes while preserving the regional features.
Pongsan County completed new and unique layouts and stepped up the housing reconstruction to improve the appearance of the county seat.
Singye and Sohung counties provided the building materials needed for the housing reconstruction and aroused the masses to record good results in the project. -0-
